Session & Payment Policies

Payments Policies

Each session lasts 60 minutes. Dates and times will be agreed in advance, ideally at the same time each week for consistency.

Payments are kindly requested at least 48 hours prior to the appointment via bank transfer. Please note that unpaid sessions will be considered cancelled.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please provide as much notice as possible. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will require full payment.

Session Policies

Sessions are scheduled to start at the agreed-upon time, and every effort will be made to begin on schedule. To respect the time allocated for the session and ensure fairness to the client, the session will still end at the scheduled time.

Unless otherwise agreed upon, no additional time will be added to the session to make up for lost time. It is the client’s responsibility to arrive on time for scheduled sessions.

If a client is running late, they are encouraged to notify the therapist as soon as possible to discuss possible arrangements. Repeated lateness may impact the effectiveness of therapy and may be discussed in session to explore underlying issues.

Sessions will not take place if clients are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If a client appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, the session will not proceed.

This policy is in place to ensure the client’s safety and the effectiveness of the therapy session.

In such cases, the session will be rescheduled for a later time when the client is sober and able to fully engage in the therapy process.

Confidentiality Policies

All information shared during therapy sessions is confidential. This includes personal details, conversations, and any other information shared during sessions.

Confidentiality is maintained. Sessions are not shared with anyone, including family members, friends, or other healthcare professionals, without explicit consent.

Exceptions to confidentiality: Confidentiality may be breached in situations where there is a risk of harm to self or others, or as required by law.

All records, including notes and audio/video recordings, are kept confidential and stored securely.
